Handmade Rollerball Pen Black Ash Burl Rhodium/Gold

Wonderful tan and brown colors combined with dark eyes and swirling grain make this Black Ash Burl Rollerball pen just jump out at you.  There are swirls, eyes and a lot to look at with this pen. Half the pen is a lighter blond, the other half a darker brown - the best of both worlds!   It is a handcrafted Rollerball pen made from North American Black Ash Burl.  Black Ash is a very tough and dense wood, which is hard to turn on the lathe! It feels great in your hand and is appropriate for anyone who want to make a bold statement.  This Rollerball pen has been handcrafted by turning and finishing it to a mirror polish.  All external components are finished with a Rhodium and Gold finish coating providing dependable service. This is a Rollerball (not ballpoint or fountain) pen which has a separate cap to cover the pen.  It writes very smoothly and easily, and takes a standard Parker Style ink cartridge to make it easy to refill. 

The pen is very stylish and shows well in all lighting conditions. The pen will make a memorable gift for any occasion, such as a Birthday, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Christmas, Graduation Day, Bosses or Secretaries Day.

The pen is constructed first by hand selecting each blank and then turning the pen to final shape. The pen is then sanded 7 times with progressively finer grits (180, 220, 320, 400, 600, 800, 1200) of sandpaper to create a very smooth surface. The surface is polished to a mirror like shine using 12 polishing steps to create a showroom quality finish.

Comes with your choice of ink color (blue / black) and a drawstring pen sleeve.  You'll also receive a Certificate of Authenticity with each pen ordered.  Product dimensions are the size of the pen inside its box.

The pen in the picture is the one you will receive. If you are interested in multiple pens, please contact us. Since each pen is a unique work of art, exact duplicates are not possible. But, we will do our best to create duplicates of the pen, using the same wood and finish.
