Handmade Fountain Pen Turquoise TruStone Rhodium/Gold

Art Deco styling is an elegant style and this Turquoise and Gold TruStone handmade Fountain pen certainly complements this style.  Art Deco is an opulent and lavish form of art (and architecture) that spanned the 1920's and 1930's.  The art form influenced architecture, industrial design, interior design, fashion, and film of the period.  This pen incorporates many of the design features of that period, such as spires and starbursts in the accents that characterize the Art Deco period.  There is a small radiant Swarovski Crystal on the clip that even provides an extra accent!

This is a beautiful, tasteful handcrafted Fountain pen made from a Turquoise and Gold TruStone and includes a Swarovski Crystal on the clip. TruStone is created from real gemstones which are bonded with a resin.  The result is a stone material that can be turned into a pen.  It feels nice in the hand and has a fantastic feel and heft.  A fantastic material from which to make a pen.  The pen has been made by hand turning a TruStone blank and finishing it to a mirror polish.  All external components are finished with a Rhodium and Gold coating which will provide durable and dependable service. The pen is very stylish and shows well in all lighting conditions. The pen will make a memorable gift for any occasion, such as a Birthday, Father's Day, Christmas, Graduation Day, Bosses or Secretaries Day.

The pen is constructed first by hand selecting each piece and then turning the pen to final shape. The pen is then sanded 7 times with progressively finer grits of sandpaper (180, 220, 320, 400, 600, 800, 1200) to create a very smooth surface. Multiple coats of finish are applied to protect the pen for years of hard use. The surface is polished to a mirror like shine using 12 polishing steps to create a showroom quality finish.

Comes with an ink cartridge, ink pump converter and a draw string pen sleeve. Replacement ink cartridges can easily be found at most drugstores and office supply stores. You'll also receive a Certificate of Authenticity with each pen ordered.  Product dimensions are the size of the pen inside its box.  The pen in the picture is the one you will receive. If you are interested in multiple pens, please contact us. Since each pen is a unique work of art, exact duplicates are not possible. But, we will do our best to create duplicates of the pen, using the same wood and finish.
