Handmade Deep Lapis, golden thread TruStone with Gold and Chrome Finish

This Lapis TruStone Pen has a beautiful deep blue color with subtle gold lines.  The spun grooves combined with the gold and chrome styling set this pen apart from others.  Truly a remarkable, eye-catching pen! The styling makes the hold comfortable and has a fantastic weight.   

This rollerball pen has been handcrafted by turning a blank of Lapis TruStone and finishing it to a glossy polish.  All external components are finished with Gold finish with Chrome accents.  The finish will provide years of durable and dependable service. This is a rollerball pen (not ballpoint) pen which has a separate cap to cover the pen.  The cap does post (that is, it can screw onto the back of the pen).  It writes very smoothly and easily, and takes a Schmidt rollerball cartridge, making it easy to refill. (This pen can be converted to a fountain pen, if desired.  Just send me an e-mail if you are interested in the fountain pen.)

The pen is constructed first by hand selecting each piece of TruStone and then turning it to final shape. The pen is then sanded 7 times with progressively finer grits (180, 220, 320, 400, 600, 800, 1200) of sandpaper to create a very smooth surface.  The surface is polished to a mirror like shine using 12 polishing steps to create a showroom quality finish.

The pen comes with black ink and a pen pouch. Replacement ink can easily be found at most office supply stores. You'll also receive a Certificate of Authenticity with each pen ordered.  Product dimensions are the approximate size of the pen.

The pen in the picture is the one you will receive. If you are interested in multiple pens, please contact us. Since each pen is a unique work of art, exact duplicates are not possible. But, we will do our best to create duplicates of the pen, using the same wood and finish.
