Handmade Ballpoint Pen Redwood Burl Gold/Chrome

This Redwood Burl handmade ballpoint pen certainly makes the style of this pen stand out!  The curly wood has a great chatoyancy to it, giving it an amazing 3D effect. The lines change as you move the pen just like the 3D glasses. The dark eyes in the grain add a ton of character.  There is a small radiant crystal on the clip that even provides an extra accent!

This is a beautifully handcrafted pen made from a piece of Curly Redwood Burl which includes a crystal on the clip.  It feels great in your hand and has a fantastic feel and heft. The pen has been made by hand turning a blank and finishing it to a mirror polish.  All external components are finished with a Gold and Chrome coating which will provide durable service. The ballpoint pen extends with the twist of your wrist and and writes smoothly and easily. The pen is very stylish and shows well in all lighting conditions. The pen will make a memorable gift for any occasion, such as a Birthday, Father's Day, Christmas, Graduation Day, Bosses or Secretaries Day.

The pen is constructed first by hand selecting each piece and then turning the pen to final shape. The pen is then sanded 7 times with progressively finer grits of sandpaper (180, 220, 320, 400, 600, 800, 1200) to create a very smooth surface. Multiple coats of finish are applied to protect the pen from hard use. The surface is polished to a mirror like shine using 12 polishing steps to create a showroom quality finish.

Comes with your choice of ink color (blue / black) and a velvet drawstring pen sleeve. Replacement ink cartridges can be found in our Parker Style Ballpoint Pen refill section or easily be at most office supply stores. You'll also receive a Certificate of Authenticity with each pen ordered.  Product dimensions are the size of the pen inside its box.  The pen in the picture is the one you will receive. If you are interested in multiple pens, please contact us. Since each pen is a unique work of art, exact duplicates are not possible. But, we will do our best to create duplicates of the pen, using the same wood and finish.
