Product DescriptionBack in black - a classic look! This is a classic fountain pen is made from Gabon Ebony wood, one of the few species that are completely black. Truely a classic look. It feels great in the hand and is appropriate for anyone who want to make a definitive, bold statement. This fountain pen has been handcrafted by turning a piece of gabon ebony and finishing it to a mirror polish. All external components are finished with a Chrome and Gold finish coating providing years of durable and dependable service. This is a fountain (not ballpoint or rollerball) pen which has a separate cap to cover the pen. It writes very smoothly and easily, and takes a cartridge to make it easy to refill. The nib is a medium point and is made in Germany. It is tipped with iridium for a smooth writing experience. The pen is very stylish and shows well in all lighting conditions. The pen will make a memorable gift for any occasion, such as a Birthday, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Christmas, Graduation Day, Bosses or Secretaries Day. The pen is constructed first by hand selecting each piece of wood and then turning the pen to final shape. The pen is then sanded 7 times with progressively finer grits of sandpaper (180, 220, 320, 400, 600, 800, 1200) to create a very smooth surface. The surface is polished to a mirror like shine using 12 polishing steps to create a showroom quality finish. The pen comes with black ink and a pen sleeve. Replacement ink can easily be found at most office supply stores. You'll also receive a Certificate of Authenticity with each pen ordered. Product dimensions are the size of the pen inside its box. The pen in the picture is the one you will receive. If you are interested in multiple pens, please contact us. Since each pen is a unique work of art, exact duplicates are not possible.
