Product Description

This is a bold handcrafted wood pen made from Amboyna Burl.  Amboyna Burl is very dense, but turns well.  It has a spectacular color, of rich reds, browns and blacks.  This pen has amazing grain - you just loose yourself looking into the pen!  It's stylish and is a pleaure to use. It feels great in the hand and has a good weight.  The pen has been made by hand turning a blank of Amboyna Burl and finishing it to a mirror polish.  All external components are finished with a Gold plating and coating which will provide durable and dependable service. This is a fountain (not ballpoint) pen which has a separate cap to cover the pen. It does post.  It writes very smoothly and easily.  This pen can be made into a rollerball pen - please e-mail if interested.

The pen is very stylish and shows well in all lighting conditions. The pen will make a memorable gift for any occasion, such as a Birthday, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Christmas, Graduation Day, Bosses or Secretaries Day.

The pen is constructed first by hand selecting each piece of wood and then turning the pen to final shape. The pen is then sanded 7 times with progressively finer grits (180, 220, 320, 400, 600, 800, 1200) of sandpaper to create a very smooth surface. Multiple coats of finish are applied to protect the wood for years of hard use. The surface is polished to a mirror like shine using 12 polishing steps to create a showroom quality finish.

Comes with black ink and a pen sleeve. Replacement ink cartridges can easily be found at most drugstores and office supply stores. You'll also receive a Certificate of Authenticity with each pen ordered.  Product dimensions are the size of the pen inside its box.

The pen in the picture is the one you will receive. If you are interested in multiple pens, please contact us. Since each pen is a unique work of art, exact duplicates are not possible. But, we will do our best to create duplicates of the pen, using the same wood and finish.
