Handcrafted Amboyna Burl Fountain Pen Rhodium / Gold

Rich, deep reds and browns highlight the spectacular grain in this Amboyna Burl fountain pen.  It is just an amazing looking pen, one of my favorite wood.  This handmade fountain pen has been made from a select piece of Amboyna Burl with beautiful grain and rich color.  This pen has been turned to have a 'fatter' body, which some people prefer.  It is better for people who like a pen that they can grab onto, or who have trouble holding thinner pens.  If you have any questions, please contact us and we will be happy to provide additional information.

The Rhodium finish highlights the color of the wood and the detail in the Gold accents really compliment the color in the Amboyna  This pen is sure to be a hit and is sure to turn heads!  It's stylish and has a smooth writing style that make this pen a pleaure to use. It feels great in the hand and has a solid feel.   All external components are finished with a Rhodium plating and coating wth Gold color accents which will provide durable service. This is a fountain (not ballpoint) pen which has a separate cap to cover the pen.  It writes very smoothly and easily. (If interested in a rollerball Pen, contact us and we can convert it).

The pen is very stylish and shows well in all lighting conditions. The pen will make a memorable gift for any occasion, such as a Birthday, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Christmas, Graduation Day, Bosses or Secretaries Day.  Makes a wonderful corporate gift idea!

The pen is constructed first by hand selecting each piece and then turning the pen to final shape. The pen is then sanded 7 times with progressively finer grits (180, 220, 320, 400, 600, 800, 1200) of sandpaper to create a very smooth surface. The surface is polished to a mirror like shine using 12 polishing steps to create a showroom quality finish.

Comes with ink converter, sample ink cartridge and a pen sleeve. Replacement ink cartridges can easily be found at most drugstores and office supply stores. You'll also receive a Certificate of Authenticity with each pen ordered.  Product dimensions are the size of the pen inside its box.  The pen in the picture is the one you will receive. If you are interested in multiple pens, please contact us. Since each pen is a unique work of art, exact duplicates are not possible. But, we will do our best to create duplicates of the pen, using the same wood and finish.
