Banded Malachite Handmade Ballpoint Pen Chrome/Satin Chrome

What an great looking pen!  The color, the character, the styling of the accents.  Sure to please anyone who receives it, or gets to use it.

The pen is made by taking individual pieces of Malachite TruStone, cutting them at 15 degress and then hand-assembling them together with metal accents between each piece, which when turned, give an oval appearance to the accents.  Just remarkable!  Small pieces of aluminum are cut and glued between each piece of the blank an the entire assembly is then glued and turned on the lathe into a pen.  Hours and hours and hours of work went into making and assembling the Malachite TruStone pen blank, but I think the end-result was worth it.  Truely a unique looking pen.  

This great-looking handmade ballpoint pen is made from Malachite TruStone and Aluminum. This pen pattern is pretty unique as it was hand made here at Mazurka Pens.  No two are exactly alike.  The final pen has been turned and finishing it to a mirror polish.  All external components are finished with a Chrome / Satin Chrome accents which will provide durable and dependable service. The ball point pen extends with the twist of your wrist and and writes smoothly and easily.

The pen is very stylish and shows well in all lighting conditions. The pen will make a memorable gift for any occasion, such as a Birthday, Father's Day, Christmas, Graduation Day, Bosses or Secretaries Day.  The pen is constructed first by hand creating the blank and then turning the pen to final shape. The pen is then sanded 7 times with progressively finer grits of sandpaper (180, 220, 320, 400, 600, 800, 1200) to create a very smooth surface.  The surface is polished to a mirror like shine using 12 polishing steps to create a showroom quality finish.

Comes with your choice of ink color and a velvet pen sleeve. Replacement ink cartridges can easily be found in our Parker Style Ballpoint Pen refill section or at most drugstores and office supply stores. You'll also receive a Certificate of Authenticity with each pen ordered.  Product dimensions are the size of the pen inside its box.

The pen in the picture is the one you will receive. If you are interested in multiple pens, please contact us. Since each pen is a unique work of art, exact duplicates are not possible. But, we will do our best to create duplicates of the pen, using the same wood and finish.
